plant at 973 Whitevale Road (across from the Duteau Creek Water site) continues to dehydrate vegetables to make dehydrated soup mix on a daily basis throughout the winter months. This nutritious soup mix goes to areas of the world where the need is great. The vegetables are donated from local area growers that would otherwise go to waste. Volunteers are key to the day to day operation and many of our volunteers are seniors. If you are looking for something to do, come and join us in this worthwhile venture and volunteer a few hours. It's fun and casual and you'll meet some interesting people. No notice needs to be given. Just drop in and ask for Harold, Plant Manager.
